Spring has sprung which means only one thing... our March auction is live!

February – what a month! It brought us 6 Nations victories against England and France at Fortress Murrayfield, it brought us the Beast from the East and it also brought us our first ever dedicated charity auction.

Last year, Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. As a result of this, Doddie set up the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation with the aim of raising as much money as possible in order to help find a cure for this disease. Our auction raised over £7,200 for the foundation, and a big thanks must go to all those who made donations and placed bids on the items, which ranged from bespoke whisky tastings to luxury golf days as well as a wide selection of great bottles. With 100% of the proceeds from the auction going to Doddie’s Foundation, we’re thrilled to have raised a great amount for this fantastic cause.

With our March auction now live, we have more rare, old bottles ready and waiting to be added to whisky collections around the world. Just take a look at these three Brora Rare Malts releases (here, here and here), including *that* 1972 Brora which Serge Valentin at rated 97/100. As well as those lovely Broras, we have a number of other eye-catching bottles in this month's auction, including a Macallan 1966 Speymalt from Gordon & MacPhail, a Lagavulin Distillery Exclusive bottling, and two rare miniatures of Glenlivet Cipher and Tamdhu 50 years old. These miniatures are rarely seen at auction, so it's a great opportunity to add something very unique to your whisky collection!
